Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Ka whakaaturia tana mōhio ki te whakahua tika i ngā oro o te reo.
    Demonstrate basic understanding and correctly pronounce sounds.
  • Ka whakaaturia tana mōhio ki te whakawhitiwhiti whakaaro māmā mō te tangata.
    Demonstrate basic understanding and share basic ideas of familiar contexts. (Speak about oneself and other people and objects).
  • Ka whakaaturia tana mōhio ki te whakawhitiwhiti kōrero ki tētahi atu.
    Demonstrate basic understanding and speak and respond in familiar contexts.
