Students who successfully complete this online floristry course will be able to:

  • Describe the responsibilities of employers and employees under the Health and Safety in Employment Act.
  • Demonstrate effective communication techniques, customer service skills and basic retail payment techniques, to deliver a positive customer experience in a floristry workplace
  • Demonstrate basic techniques for the display and sale of floral stocks and merchandise including labelling, wrapping, card writing and ticket pricing.
  • Demonstrate methods for the storage and care of floristry stock.

Assessment

This course is 100% internally assessed.

You need access to photographic and video recording equipment e.g. mobile phone with camera.
