This course will give you training and practice in the engineering design method and introduction to engineering handbooks and commercial catalogues. This is a necessary foundation for future studies in the more advanced courses of the qualification.

As part of this course, you will be using CAD software, so we recommend you become familiar with a 2D CAD program before the start of the course.
