This third practicum will continue to grow the awareness, knowledge, skills and confidence you have gained from previous practicums. You will increase proficiency in your use of te reo Māori me ngā tikanga-a-iwi in practice and integrate it into your planning and assessment.
You will build relationships with tamariki (children) and their whānau/community that are responsive to their identity, language and culture and work collaboratively to implement teaching approaches that promote their inclusion and learning. You will reflect on how your own culture impacts your relationships and teaching practices.
You will demonstrate the ability to integrate relevant domain knowledge into an integrated and localised curriculum to progress learning.
Assessment
100% internal assessment and includes a practicum.
