The construction sector is a major part of the total civil engineering and building industry. Construction projects range in size from the small to the very large.  However, all projects share common factors using workers, machines and materials, that need organisation and control. 

When you study this course you will need to become familiar with the range of construction equipment and techniques in common use, and must be able to plan and direct construction works.

Entry requirements

To study this course you need to have access to a small and large construction project.  

Skills in report writing are also needed.
