- Develop and implement a software system based on the software development life cycle
- Explain the quality management issues involved with the production of software systems
- Analyse, design, implement, and test a system or change request, according to specified requirements
- Utilise computer aided software tools, such as Java IDE and a UML modelling tool, for analysis and design
- Document the resulting software development process
