Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to demonstrate:
- An understanding of basic micro and macro-economic concepts.
- An understanding of the different cultures in the New Zealand workforce.
- An understanding of different approaches to ethical action, different approaches to the individual in society, and the concept of corporate social responsibility.
- An understanding of the sources of law, the basic principles of the law of contract, consumer law and intellectual property.
