Paying your fees

You need to pay fees to study most of our courses. This page includes information about what fees you may need to pay, how you can pay your fees, and what happens if you need to withdraw from your course.

You can also find information about how to request that we complete forms for you if needed (for example for StudyLink, the Ministry of Social Development or for a scholarship).

If you are a domestic learner, you may be eligible to have your fees subsidised through the Ministry of Education. Domestic learners include:

  • New Zealand citizens
  • Cook Islands, Tokelau or Niue citizens, studying there or in New Zealand
  • Permanent residents of New Zealand (including Australian citizens or permanent residents) living in New Zealand.
  • Residents of New Zealand living in New Zealand for the full period of study may also be eligible (relevant legislation applies).

If you are not one of the above, you are classified as an international learner and must pay full fees (see below).
