This qualification is for people who are currently working in or are interested in beginning a career working with children and teens in libraries, schools and public sector organisations.

Applicants to the New Zealand Certificate in Library and Information Services for Children and Teens must have evidence of successful study at Level 5 in information and library studies or a related field such as teaching. Students who have attained the age of 20 years and do not hold the minimum entry requirements will be eligible if their previous educational, work or life experience indicates they have a reasonable likelihood of success.
